I just got PdaNet up and running and it’s incredibly cool. Drop this app on your laptop and get online using any cellular network and suck up their wireless bandwidth without costly subscriptions or special cards (EVDO for 0$ a month). PdaNet lets my laptop to go online through my Motorola Q via USB or even Bluetooth. No Wifi available? No problem.

I tested the connection in my Lake Worth home. We usually get pretty bad signal (many, many dropped calls) so I’m guessing this is a few hundred kilobits below the norm. Very impressive.
